Just like every other day this week, filming continued in Upper Darby between the sets of both Will’s Dad’s house and CJ’s house. Shooting began around noon and mostly took place in various rooms within the location of Will’s Dad’s house. The day almost entirely consisted of conversational scenes between Josh Hopkins (Will) and Rachel Kitson (CJ). Filming ran very smoothly throughout the majority of the afternoon with some delays towards the evening as we began filming exteriors around CJ’s house. Gradually however, the set is becoming more and more at war with local ice cream trucks due to their loud music disrupting the set. Luckily, the production’s ever trusty locations manager Kevin Streckwald is always on the scene and ready to track them down at any time. Tomorrow will be a much later call time to look forward to along with a very late night of shooting within the set of CJ’s house.

It is day three of filming and the cast and crew have been working hard on the set of “Lebanon”. With the call time at 9 AM, the crew was able to catch up on some rest before they embarked on their busy day. Luckily enough the sky was partly overcast, allowing everyone to work fairly comfortably on what would normally have been a hot summer day. The first half of the afternoon was spent filming outdoor scenes around the set of Will’s Dad’s house in Upper Darby, which included one of the most intense scenes to occur in the film. The second half of the day was spent indoors both filming scenes with stars Josh Hopkins (Will), Rachel Kitson (CJ), and Ian Peakes (Andy) and avoiding the likes of a local ice cream truck that has been disrupting the set occasionally with its loud musical jingle.   After the crew bought ice cream, the truck was silent.   We will be bringing you more photos and updates as shooting continues, so stay tuned cause there’s more to come!

 Well, we find ourselves in day 2 of 24 of a (very) ambitious shooting schedule, here on the set of the independent feature film, “Lebanon” and things are off to a great start.  According to Ben (Director), Jason (Producer) and MJ (Cinematographer), minus a few expected bumps, day 1 went very well. The crew has planted down at two houses in Upper Darby, a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will be there for the next week and a 1/2.  I’m reporting from a basement of one of the houses that the team is using as their production office. Today is Josh Hopkins first day of shooting and he is doing an amazing job as our leading man Will.
